I only needed to make 3 packed lunches today… One for Hubby, one for J and one for C.
B is not going to school today because she needs to sleep – she put in a 23 hour day yesterday on top of running around at Disneyland. She was up at 3, and didn’t get to bed until almost 2am this morning… A has a half-day as it is the parent-teacher interviews at her school, and I don’t work on Thursdays.
Anyhow, this is what I put in the 3 packed lunches that I made:
Clockwise from the top left-hand container:
- a gluten-free honeycake with a few unsalted almonds below
- baby carrots
- Baba Ganoush in the big dipper
- 4 raw flax-seed crackers with some cheese sandwiched between them (this makes the lunch primal rather than paleo)
- 2 squares of extra dark chocolate in the central treat container
They also took a honey-mandarin orange separately and a reusable bottle of water.
